The Annual General Meeting of Football Wagga Wagga was held on Wed 28 November and the following people were elected:

The 2008 Senior Competition will commence in April and the Junior Competition in May 2008.

In November 2008 Football NSW in conjunction with Football Riverina will be taking two selected squads to Brazil for 12 days to partake in a development tour aimed at exposing country football players to another football culture.

These tours are a fantastic opportunity for selected players to continue their elite development by training, playing and watching elite football in another country. Players will receive specialized training prior to leaving, elite games and training as well as professional coaching while on tour. This tour will not only be a great life experience but an important part of your further elite development. The squads will be U13 and U15 ages in 2008.

Tim Wilson, Regional Manager - Riverina for Football NSW, has advised that Registrations for the summer Wagga Pathways program have closed.

The program will start on Wednesday 14th November at Gissing Oval.

U/7 and U/8 (in 2007) start at 5:45pm and finish at 6:45pm.

All other ages start at 6:00pm and finish approx. 7:30pm.

Please arrive early. Payment of $30 (payable to Football Wagga Wagga) is to be made on the first night. Players are to bring boots, shin pads, drink bottle and football.
