Gwen and David were involved with Henwood Park as team manager, Treasurer and Registrar, as well as fund raising, presentation nights, and assisting with carnivals. Gwen was recognised for her efforts to Henwood Park Club with Life Membership.
Both Gwen and David have been involved with the Wagga Association, David as Secretary and Gwen as Junior Vice President, Registrar and Assistant Secretary. David was on the committee to redevelop Gissing Oval and Rawlings Park and was also a member of the Judiciary Committee.
Gwen was involved with Committees for the development of Wagga Soccer Protests and Disciplinary Rules, By-Laws, Constitution and Competition Rules, and has compiled statistics for the senior and junior competition for many years.
In the mid 1990's Win Television sponsored the Junior Soccer Star of the Year Award, which was named after Gwen in recognition of her efforts for junior soccer.
