The NSW Sports Federation is conducting an accredited MPIO Course at the end of November 2008.
This is a fantastic opportunity for association and club MPIO’s to complete this training with the NSW Sports Federation.

Member Protection Information Officers Course (MPIOs)
Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th November, 10am-4pm
This course covers the role of the MPIO, relevant legislation (anti-discrimination & child protection), complaint processes and alternative dispute resolutions. Cost: $165 members, $200 non-members (GST inclusive).

Griffith Association and Riverina Branch President Angelo Dotta has been awarded the prestigious George Churchward Medal for 2008.
Football NSW President Jim Forrest and Barry Brooks from BJS Insurance presented the award to Dotta in front of a capacity crowd at the Football NSW State Dinner attended by the NSW Minister for Western Sydney David Borger, Directors, Life Members, Association Presidents and Special Guests.
Recognised for his outstanding contribution to football in the Riverina and NSW, Angelo has been on the Griffith Association committee for 20 years, Riverina Branch as President over 10 years as well as holding positions as a Director with the NSW Amateur Soccer Federation prior to unification, country delegate to the Council of Associations and more recently on the Football NSW Junior’s Standing Committee.
The medal, namedin honour of Life Member and Chairman's Medallist George Churchward, recognises an outstanding contribution to the code over and above what would normally be expected of a person in the positions they hold or have held in association football and at other levels and is the highest possible acknowledgement at State Level.
